ANTHROPOS

"he forgot me", acrylic on photopaper, 2.25 x 2.25 inches

A LARGER CLANN

"money matters", acrylic on canvas, 6 x 6 inches

To push the abstraction of the small clann paintings I want to blow them up to six inch canvases and repaint them, and after that further experiment with a large rectangular zoom repainted with larger brushes. This is the first blow up in the series. I also cropped and flopped it.

ELEANOR

"eleanor", acrylic on canvas, 6 x 6 inches

Here is the final painting of Eleanor on canvas. I used the original photo, did a quick study and then did a more detailed final (see progression below).

SHE ALWAYS KNEW – FINAL

"she always knew" collage on photopaper, ink, acrylic paint and vintage paper. 6 x 4 inches.

Portrait of Mary C. Leto. Things that are pertinent: pieces of wallpaper, parts of books, library stamps, wooden letters, 40s cross stitch, hollander beater,  and "the nun story, an ancient legend."
